Integrating Screencastify with PlayPosit
First time set up for new users
To begin, link your Screencastify account to your PlayPosit account and follow these steps:
- Use the Screencastify browser extension to create a screen recording.
- Under the Share menu on the right side of the screen, click More options.
- In the drop down menu, click Add more share options.
- In the new tab, select the toggle next to PlayPosit.
- In the right sidebar in the Export Video section, there will now be an option to Upload to PlayPosit.
Be sure to title the video and/or make any edits necessary before uploading. The first time Upload to Playposit is clicked, a Google single sign-on (SSO) pop-up will appear. Choose the account with the same email address that is connected to your PlayPosit account. A Success screen means that the video has successfully been processed within PlayPosit.
Add a Screencastify video to a bulb
To create a new bulb, click Add New Bulb from the My Bulbs page. In the bulb designer, select My Videos and click on the newly created screen recording. Click Done to add the video to the bulb. After a screencastify screen recording has been added to a bulb, interactions and other features can be added to add interactivity to the recording.
