Ethio Telecom eSIM and Mela Micro Credit Financial Services
Welcome to the Future of Connectivity! Experience eSIM. Does the process of swapping physical SIM cards feel inconvenient at times? searching for ejector tools, or worrying about losing that crucial chip? There’s a smarter, more integrated way to connect. Introducing eSIM (Embedded-SIM) – the built-in digital solution revolutionizing how we use mobile services.
Benefits of eSIM Technology
eSIM technology unlocks a new level of convenience and capability:
- Multiple Numbers, One Device: Easily use more than one phone number or mobile plan on a single compatible device.
- Simplified Setup: Activation is often as easy as scanning a QR code – no more fiddling with trays.
- Over-the-Air Updates: Supports easy provisioning and management of multiple profiles directly to your device.
- Enhanced Security: By removing the physical card, you reduce opportunities for SIM-related swapping fraud or theft.
- Enterprise-Grade Solution: Its manageability and security make it ideal for businesses needing to deploy and manage connectivity at scale.
The eSIM cost is 85 ETB. This applies to both new eSIM activations and replacements from physical SIM or existing eSIM.
Is Your Phone Ready for the eSIM Revolution?
Checking if your phone is compatible is easier than you think! Grab your device and follow these quick steps:
For Android Users
- Dive into your Settings and tap on Connections, then look for SIM manager.
- Keep an eye out for options like “Add eSIM,” “Add Mobile Plan,” or “Download a SIM instead?”.
- Or Search for “IMEI” in Settings. If you spot an “IMEI (eSIM)” or similar entry, your phone speaks eSIM.
For iPhone Users
- Go to your Settings app and tap on Cellular.
- Look for words: “Convert to eSIM” or “Add eSIM”.
- Extra Check: Navigate to Settings > General > About. If you see an “eID” number or an “IMEI (eSIM)”, your iPhone is eSIM-ready.
