Helix Native | Amps & Effects Plugin

Helix ® Native delivers the power of award-winning HX ® Modeling technology in a plugin. Like the hardware members of the Helix family of guitar processors—Helix Floor, Helix Rack, and Helix LT—it features the authentic sounds of vintage and modern amps, cabs, mics, and effects. Helix Native is an open-ended sound design tool that will inspire film/TV/ game composers, producers and engineers, electronic musicians, and anyone else seeking exciting new sounds.

Core Modeling Technology

Authentic Tone: The Helix audio engine accurately recreates the sonic characteristics and dynamic playing response of classic and modern amplifiers and effects. This performance is possible because Component Modeling ensures each stage of an amp’s circuitry is measured and the results matched to the original during the modeling process, ensuring realistic sound and an authentic playing experience.

Furthermore, Behavioral Modeling captures the unique behavior of analog effects devices by measuring their individual components. This results in authentic recreations of even notoriously difficult-to-model effects such as germanium fuzz and “bucket-brigade” analog delay pedals.

Flexible Sound Design Features

HX Cabs/Impulse Responses: Helix cabinet models offer a choice of 12 microphone types that may be positioned at various distances from the speaker cone and cabinet for additional flexibility. Additionally, third-party impulse responses may also be loaded.

Snapshots: Snapshots enable you to create multiple variations within a single preset and seamlessly transition between them, without the audio dropouts that occur when switching between presets. This provides an efficient workflow as preset compatibility across the entire Helix family makes it easy to transfer your studio creations to your hardware Helix device and vice-versa.
